For your WordPress website to show up online, you need to take out website hosting. At Goldfinch we offer website hosting for our web design clients or if you’d prefer to arrange this yourself, that’s fine too! You can view our hosting options below.
Please bear in mind that WordPress websites need to be updated on a regular basis and if you choose to take out a hosting only package, you will be responsible for making regular WordPress & Plug In updates yourself. Without regular updates your website could become unstable, stop working and be open to malware attacks. If you do not take out a care package, all updates, technical support and editing is charged at £50/hour.
Payments are made through GoCardless and will appear on your statement as GoCardless with the reference GOLDFINCH. All website hosting and care packages are provided through a third party. There are no minimum contract lengths on any of these plans however if you cancel your hosting without arranging the transfer of your site to a new host, your site will be unavailable and any remedial work will be charged accordingly. If you wish to transfer your hosting, please notify us immediately so we can discuss the action that needs to be taken to move your site safely.
