For your WordPress website to show up online, you need to take out website hosting. At Goldfinch Marketing I offer website hosting for my web design clients or if you’d prefer to arrange this yourself, that’s fine too! You can view your hosting options below.
Please bear in mind that WordPress websites need to be updated on a regular basis and if you choose to take out a hosting only package, you will be responsible for making regular WordPress & Plug In updates yourself. Without regular updates your website could become unstable, stop working and be open to malware attacks. If you do not take out a care package, all updates, technical support and editing is charged at my current hourly rate.
Payments are made through GoCardless and will appear on your statement as GoCardless with the reference GOLDFINCH. Hosting only monthly plan has a min contract length of 1 month. If you cancel your hosting without arranging the transfer of your site to a new host, your site will be unavailable and any remedial work will be charged accordingly. If you wish to transfer your hosting, please notify me immediately so we can discuss the action that needs to be taken to move your site safely.
*Services included in the care package are worth up to £82.50/month based on the time it takes to carry out and maintain your website as shown. This includes up to 30 minutes of troubleshooting/fixing technical issues relating to the security and updates on your website, per month.
